We drive to the Sonauli/Bhairahawa border for immigration, then continue via Butwal and Narayangarh to Sauraha, the gateway village to Chitwan National Park. After hotel check-in and lunch, stroll to the banks of the Rapti River for a spectacular sunset over the jungle, with crocodiles often basking on the far bank. Overnight in Sauraha.
