By road Muktinath is around 480-500 km from Gorakhpur. We drive Gorakhpur to Pokhara (about 8-9 hours), continue to Jomsom, and then switch to a mountain jeep for the climb to the temple, so the yatra is comfortably spread over 2 to 3 days.
