Tour Plan
- Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, our representative will welcome you and escort you to your vehicle.
- The 35-minute drive through New Srinagar takes you past Abdullah Bridge, connecting the Jhelum River’s banks, heading towards Kashmir's North-Western frontier.
- We will arrive at the hotel and proceed for an afternoon sightseeing tour.
- Visit the Mughal gardens including Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar (Abode of Love), all dating back to the 16th century and located along Dal Lake.
- Explore Shankaracharya Temple, perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of Srinagar, Dal Lake, and the Jhelum River.
- En route, visit a handloom center renowned for producing Pashmina/Shahtoos shawls and world-famous carpets.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, we begin our countryside trip to Gulmarg, located 2440 meters above sea level.
- Gulmarg is renowned for its breathtaking beauty and is known as the “Meadows of Flowers.”
- During the drive, you’ll pass through vibrant villages and lush rice fields, offering a glimpse into Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage.
- Arrive at Tangmarg, a picturesque market town, and continue the scenic 14 km drive to Gulmarg.
- Gulmarg boasts one of the world’s best ski slopes and the highest 18-hole golf course.
- Once in Gulmarg, take a short tour around the meadow, soaking in the stunning views.
- Board the Gondola cable car (at additional cost) to ascend the Afarwatt Mountain range, capturing photos of the majestic mountain peaks.
- In the evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
- After breakfast, we depart for Pahalgam, driving through Pampore, where you can visit the famous saffron fields.
- We continue the journey, passing Awantipora and the village of Bijbehara, known as the breadbasket of Kashmir.
- Switching from National Highway 1A at Khanabal, we drive through Anantnag, the second-largest city in Kashmir.
- Pahalgam, located 97 kilometers south of Kashmir, is a picturesque valley, renowned for its exotic forests, beautiful streams, and snow-capped peaks.
- In Pahalgam, you can visit Aru Valley, Beetab Valley, and Chandanwari (on direct payment basis), and enjoy horse riding at Baisaran Meadows.
- After a day of sightseeing in the valley, we drive back to Srinagar for the overnight stay at the hotel.
- After breakfast, we begin our scenic drive to Sonamarg, a majestic mountain resort.
- The route offers a picturesque view of rolling hills, lush forests, clear streams, and blooming rice fields.
- We pass the town of Kangan, which caters to the local needs, and continue towards Mammar, known for its trout farm.
- Our journey takes us to Gagangir, a tourist spot located in the middle of the Sindh River, surrounded by snow-capped glaciers.
- In Sonamarg, we can either take a 3-hour walk or opt for a horseback ride/local Union cab to the Thajwas Glacier (on direct payment basis).
- After returning, we will visit the town's market for snacks or to observe the daily life of the locals.
- We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
- After a relaxed late morning breakfast, we will drive you to the airport for your flight back home.
- At the airport, the driver will assist with your luggage and ensure you are comfortably dropped off at the terminal.
